AWM caption reads : "Mesopotamia, Iraq. A group of British Army troops who operate an anti-aircraft gun from a barge."


Comment : the gun is believed to be a QF 12 pounder 12 cwt on an improvised high-angle mounting. The men behind the gunner hold a shell and a cartridge.
