Description
English: Capt. Douglas C. Bauer, right, a U.S. Navy historian, tours the engine room of the Greek frigate HS Limnos (F-451) with Cmdr. C. Nikitiadis, the ship's commanding officer. The Limnos is one of the ship's of the Maritime Interdiction Force (MIF), which was formed during Operation Desert Shield to enforce U.S. sanctions against Iraq.
