| Description |
Français : Le roi Henri IV devant les fortifications d'Amiens en avril 1597. Le bastion (sous la main du roi) est actuellement "La place Longueville" où se trouve le cirque municipal. Les deux voies figurant sur le tableau sont, de gauche à droite : la rue de Beauvais et la rue de la République. En haut et à gauche, ce sont les hauteurs au nord d'Amiens où le roi établit son camp durant le siège de la ville et d'où il partit le 29 août 1597 à la rencontre des Espagnols en direction de Querrieu.
